A sports roadster with the W113 chassis code, nicknamed the “Pagoda” due to its removable hardtop design featuring a slightly concave shape reminiscent of a pagoda. It made its debut at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show, and production for the 230SL model specifically ended in 1967, with a total of 19,831 units built. This 2-door, 2-seater luxury sports car is powered by a 2,306 cc inline-6 benzene engine equipped with a Bosch mechanical fuel injection system. It produces 150 horsepower, delivered to the rear wheels via a 4-speed gearbox. Notably, it was the first model in the SL family to offer a 4-speed automatic transmission as an option.
